Types Of Desiccator Chambers To Preserve Moisture-Sensitive Components

Desiccator chamber means which contain desiccants to preserve the moisture-sensitive items like cobalt chloride paper etc. The main use of desiccator chamber is to preserve the chemicals which easily react with water from humidity or hygroscopic.

There are different types of Desiccator chambers. They are plastic, stainless steel Desiccator and vacuum desiccator etc.

1. Plastic Desiccators:

Different types of plastic Desiccators are also available - Plastic Desiccator Cabinets 1500 series and Plastic Single Chamber Desiccator cabinets 1400 series etc.

Plastic Desiccator Cabinets 1500 series:

These types of Desiccators are made for vacuum testing, degassing small parts, mixed liquids, etc made of clear Acrylic. This Vacuum desiccator cabinet is different types as per requirement. Some of the regular vacuum desiccator cabinet are Removable lid vacuum chamber and Front Hinged door vacuum chamber.

Removable Lid vacuum chambers are easily accessible to insert and take out samples and Front hinged door chambers are easily accessible to arrange the samples in shelves. These types of Vacuum chambers support vacuum level of 29.8” Hg.
